Saturated Fat
Saturated fats are found in food sources from animals such as red meats, poultry, cheese, whole-milk products and butter.
Other foods high in saturated fats include those that are made with coconut, palm and other tropical oils.
Saturated fats can lead to increased cholesterol levels which may increase the risk of heart disease and saturated fats can also increase the risk of type 2 diabetes so excess consumption of foods with saturated fats should be kept low.
