Dietary fibres, fibre or called roughage is a plant matter that humans can not digest however it is good for you in other ways.
Fibre helps to keep your digestive tract working correctly and help you feel fuller for longer and with fewer calories so is very good with aiding diets.
Fibre can be found only in plant produce such as most fruits and vegetables.
Whole grains are a very good source of fibre and you are encouraged to eat a good amount to help relieve thins such as IBS (Irritable Bowl Syndrome) and constipation.
